I found a bird nest on the way to the dining hall. Gretchen Maslin (I hate to write one's last name since it seems as though I am not in an intimate relationship with that person, but the reason why I wrote Gretchen's last name was apparently to distinguish her from the other Gretchen) who was with me said "Oh, it would have been perfect if an egg was in it".

I nodded absently but then realized it was not something a vegetarian, who was once a vegan, would say. Did she hope there was an egg since she was hungry? or did she want it for asthetic purpose? Either way, it was so not vegetarian of her. To kill my curiosity I asked her in a vegetarian attitude, "But then, it must've been bad actually since the egg would not hatch without proper care of its mom bird, right?". I forgot what her response was. I think she just nodded.
