Chris Mo and Miller are clearly best friends, reminding me of Daisy and Anna from good old days. Chris Mo told me that his father speaks no English and I supposed Chris either speaks Chinese or just doesn't talk to his father. Well, the former made much more sense, but I grew more and more sceptical for I never saw him speaking Chinese for the whole year. I wondered what it is like to not talk to one's own father.

Only few days ago, Chris was murmuring something I cannot comprehend. I thought he was just grumbling, but I realized he was speaking Chinese with Miller. I was somehow glad. He is bilingual.
